Marcus Rockwell, President

As founder of Rockwell IT Services, Inc., Marcus Rockwell works out of Houston, TX and has more than 15 years of experience in software architecture, design and development, he has dual degrees in Computer Science and Petroleum Engineering. This educational background has afforded him the opportunity to work in all facets of the Petroleum Industry. In addition to IT, he has had hands-on experience in oil field operations, new facilities design and construction, oil field production and drilling operations. Marcus has excelled in highly demanding environments and always demonstrates professionalism and a strong work ethic. His professional experience includes Landmark Graphics, a Halliburton Company, Schlumberger, and Mobil Exploration and Production where he designed and developed application software to solve complex production, drilling and reservoir engineering problems. Marcus’ responsibilities have also included leading software development projects involving product planning, requirements analysis, code development, and testing. He has specialized as both an end-user and developer of production & drilling data management and analysis, production optimization, and reservoir engineering software applications. Marcus’s software development expertise includes the use of the following tools, languages and technologies Microsoft .Net C# and VB.Net, Java, Caliber RM (requirements analysis), Rational Rose (UML modeling), Microsoft Project (project management), Rational Unified Process (RUP) and a host of other SDK’s, application tools and software development methodologies. With over fifteen years of software development, engineering and consulting experience, he is adept at building strong customer relationships and providing world-class software solutions that deliver results and address the unique needs and business objectives of his customers. Mr. Rockwell is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.

Mark Miyaoka, Vice President

Mr. Miyaoka came to Rockwell IT Services with significant experience in the Enterprise Content Management arena. He has planned, led and implemented projects with major corporations around the United States. Mark has worked in the ECM arena as an Engagement Manager for over ten years. He has been the primary contact for clients in assessment, project planning and service delivery phases. Mark’s expertise includes many of the current tools including Documentum, FileNet and Interwoven as well as a broad understanding of today’s compliance issues including SOX and ISO9000. For Rockwell IT Services, Mark has led the charge to solidify our methodology and approach to ensure that our clients needs are met in a thorough and effective manner while focusing on the return on their investment.

Rajesh Mehrotra, Director of R & D

A graduate of 1990 batch Engineer in Computer Science with proficiency in C, COBOL, UNIX,Oracle,D2K, SYBASE. An astute and result oriented professional with over 16 years of cross functional experience in planning, marketing, project management, operations, database Administration, knowledge management, data analysis, information management, web designing and software development in diversified industries. His experience expands from conceptualizing end-to-end Project Management including SRS preparation, project planning, scoping, estimation, status tracking and ensuring implementation & delivery as per agreed deadlines. He is an effective communicator with strong leadership, team management, analytical and organizational skills and with capacity to meet deadlines. He is skilled with writing concise reports and delivering oral presentations. He has a proven track record in building, managing creating an enabling work environment and maintaining close and constructive working relationships with management and staff in defining and fulfilling knowledge needs. He is a keen planner & strategist with expertise in planning & controlling the production operations as per the capacity available with accountability on ROI.

Sherad Cravens, Associate

Sherad Cravens recently joined Rockwell IT, Inc. He is responsible for business project management and customer service. With a traditional product management consumer marketing background, he has fourteen years of marketing and management experience. This includes leading numerous cross-functional multimillion dollar initiatives and partnerships. His areas of expertise are business solution development and innovation and he has successfully launched products. Prior professional experience includes Mobil Oil Corporation, executive positions at The Quaker Oats Company and Kraft Foods. Sherad has an undergraduate degree in Business Control Systems from Texas and a MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Dhar Rawal, Associate

Dhar Rawal has over 15 years of experience in the development of technical software for the oil and gas industry. At companies such as Dresser-Rand and Waukesha Bearings, Dhar spearheaded highly successful internal re-engineering efforts to decrease cycle time in design processes. At Tango Enterprises, Dhar has been instrumental in re-architecting a missioncritical application for the defense sector. Dhar currently consults with a number of companies in the fields of software architecture and design, development, software processes and QA. He is also actively involved in mentoring efforts at all his consulting engagements. His educational qualifications include degrees in Civil and Mechanical Engineering with special expertise in computer-aided-design. His current interests are developing on the Microsoft .Net platform, Web Services, Agile Techniques and Distributed Software Development.

Brian Skruch, Associate

Brian Skruch is responsible for the management of consulting projects, and customer implementation including assignments managing technical professionals, office staff, and operations staff. Technical experience includes software coding, software engineering, project management, database architecture, data model design, and requirements analysis. His experience includes over twenty years of diverse experience in the software industry including positions in IT Management, Project Management, Analysis, System Design, Programming, Testing, Implementation, General Management, Business Development, Sales, and Pre-Sales. Experience in varied markets such as Telecommunications, Financial, Energy, Government, Media, Construction, IT Consulting, Software, Technology, Marketing, Medical, Travel, Non- Profit, and Insurance.

Ed Sohn, Associate

Ed Sohn is a Software Engineer specializing in applications and e-commerce solutions. Ed has 7 years of IT experience in both Windows and Unix environments. He is well versed in C#, VB.Net, VB, VC++, Java [Sun Java 2 Programmer Certified], and object oriented methodologies. Ed possesses an extensive background in e-commerce solutions, including ASP.Net, ASP, HTML, XML/XSL, JavaScript, PHP 4, and relational databases [Oracle, SQLServer, and MySQL].

Indra K Dutta, Associate

Indra K. Dutta has more than 9 years of experience in software analysis, design, development and integration. He has a BS degree in Physics and an MS degree in Electrical Engineering. Indra is an expert in developing distributed enterprise level applications and has in depth knowledge of object oriented methodologies, tools and practices. Indra has developed a number of software applications to solve complex business problems. His development activities have been in the area of web services, web service based clients, and applications that use messaging. All of these applications provided seamless integration across a wide variety of products. Indra developed these programs for a major oil field service company.
